The system has three main components: an infrared camera for taking digital impressions, software for determining the right size and shape for your crown, and a milling machine that can create the final restoration out of a block of porcelain.
The Process of Getting a Same-Day Dental Crown
You only need to schedule one visit to our office to receive a Same-day crown. The process involves the following steps:
- The tooth in question will be prepared as needed. (This can involve removing a small amount of enamel as well as any decayed areas.)
